Botanicamuse designs fashionable floral atmospheres for weddings, celebrations and brands.
Botanicamuse gathers inspiration from art and architecture, weaving principles of color theory into our floral and event installations. We hand-select botanical ingredients with the utmost attention to color, texture, scent, and movement.
We enjoy the challenge of creating from scratch or embellishing upon an chosen aesthetic. We conceptualize and fabricate custom-made installation pieces, curate decor and styling elements, offer floral mechanics that minimize ecological impact, and lead with a heart-centered approach to service. We are rooted in San Diego, CA and execute events throughout California and beyond. Have flowers, will travel.

About the designer MADELEINE SHELTON
My name is Madeleine Shelton and I am the owner of Botanicamuse. I fell in love with floristry nine years ago while living in San Francisco.
I earned my degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of San Francisco. While I was finishing up my degree, I took night classes at community college in the floristry department. I returned to my native San Diego, took more floral design classes, and cut my teeth in the industry as a freelance florist before starting my own business.
When I don’t have flowers in my hands, I can be found experimenting in the kitchen, taking a hot yoga class, and daydreaming about my next trip - latte in hand. I draw inspiration for my floral and event design projects from my travels.
Favorite destinations include Medellin and Cartagena in Colombia, Fes and Marrakech in Morrocco, and the Cinque Terre in Italy.
